Positive, Large room with good temperature control and real glass mugs. The on-site restaurant served excellent meals. I appreciated the free Wi-Fi and tons of cable TV channels. I'd definitely come back if I'm in the area! 😊

The location was fantastic, with two shopping centers nearby and a variety of restaurants. We enjoyed the great breakfast options at the hotel's restaurant, which included some tasty local dishes. The beds were also really comfortable, making our stay feel relaxing.

Unfortunately, we had to switch rooms due to a worn-out bed, and the new room's air conditioning was quite loud.

I enjoyed my week at Le Montagnais. The room in B block had comfortable bedding and was clean. Its layout with a door to the exterior parking was convenient for my apartment hunts. The hotel staff spoke French fluently and communicated in English adequately, which made interactions smoother. The location was great, close to the lively part of Chicoutimi and near the Saguenay River. The on-site restaurant offered decent meals, and I appreciated having a water park, although it wasn’t as extensive as I expected. However, the room had some issues. The air conditioning unit was annoyingly loud, and I couldn’t turn it off myself. I found the bathroom facilities underwhelming for a 4-star hotel, with old fixtures and low water pressure. There were also no kettles or microwaves in the room, which was frustrating, especially with a baby. Breakfast options were limited regarding healthy or vegan choices. Overall, while the stay was pleasant, these improvements would enhance the experience significantly.

We had a wonderful 2-night stay. The kids loved the indoor pool, and dining options were decent. We enjoyed the friendly staff who went above and beyond to assist us. Be sure to check out the local scenery. it's a charming area for exploring.
